This operational policy explains how TapzTable handles personal information submitted through its public contact form. It is designed for the service as it operates today and is not legal advice.

TapzTable is a Tapz product for multilingual digital menu experiences. This policy applies to information you provide at smart.tapztech.jp/contact. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of restaurants, bars or other establishments using TapzTable.
Information we collect
When you submit the Contact form, we collect your name, business or company name, email address, business type and message. Phone number is optional. We also retain the form language, submission time, source and a contact-management status. Please do not include payment information, passwords, government identifiers or other sensitive information in your message.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a possible business relationship, protect the form from abuse and maintain a record of the conversation. We do not sell contact information or use it for unrelated advertising.
Storage and security
Contact leads are processed server-side and stored in a dedicated private database area operated through Supabase. The public browser cannot read, update or delete those records through the database API. We use access controls, Row Level Security, encrypted connections and a limited-access application path. No system can guarantee absolute security; please avoid sending sensitive information through the form.
Service providers and transfers
We use Vercel to host and deliver the website, and Supabase to operate the application database and authentication infrastructure. These technical providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us. Their infrastructure may process data across regions according to their service configurations. We will not disclose your contact information to other third parties except when needed for our service providers, with your consent, or when required by applicable law.
Retention
We retain contact-form records for up to 24 months from the latest interaction, unless a longer period is required for a legitimate operational, legal or security purpose. We may archive or delete records sooner when they are no longer needed.
Your requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete the contact information we hold about you, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing contact@tapztech.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable requirements, including Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information where it applies.
Cookies and analytics
The public Contact and Privacy pages do not use advertising cookies or visitor analytics at this time. Administrative pages may use strictly necessary session cookies for Supabase Auth. If we introduce analytics, marketing cookies or similar technology, this policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as TapzTable changes. The current version will always appear on this page with its update date. Privacy contact: contact@tapztech.com.
